Mellie Hair Salon has won "Best in Milton" for 5 straight years (2007-2011), and we are located at 376 Granite Avenue in East Milton Square (Milton, MA) on the South Shore of MA.

Melanie (Mellie) takes the advanced education of her staff very seriously, and it is her top priority. She constantly takes her staff to advanced hair design classes in Boston, NYC and LA so they can keep up on current cutting and coloring techniques and trends.

We are exactly what you've been looking for as your destination-of-choice for expert hair coloring, highlighting, cutting and texturizing services in Metro Boston. You won't find more highly-trained, talented stylists and colorists anywhere on the South Shore of Massachusetts, or even Boston's Newbury Street for that matter. Mellie Hair Salon Etiquette and Policies

**We require the courtesy of at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an existing appointment.

**If you don't give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an existing appointment, or if you "no-show" for an appointment, we will require any future appointments for you to be 100% pre-paid-in-advance by Credit Card or Cash from that point on.

Please call us at 617-298-2550 to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

** No children's (under 12 years-old) services on Saturdays. Mellie Hair Salon offers children's services as a courtesy to our existing clients. We do not offer services to children when the child's parent is not a client of the salon. Most of the time children's services will be performed by an Apprentice Stylist. We can't guarantee which stylist will service your child, however, your child will receive professional, upscale service. Children, of salon clients(under 12 years-old) are welcome to receive services at Mellie Hair Salon Tuesday-Friday from opening until 5pm. No children's (under 12 years-old) services on Saturdays. Children (12 years-old and older) will be charged adult prices for all services they receive.

**"Speciality Services", such as Bridal Parties or any "multi-person" service, will require a 50% deposit to secure the appointment. If you need to cancel/reschedule a "Speciality Service" for which you left a 50% deposit, we require a minimum of 2 (two) weeks notice to cancel/reschedule the service. If you cancel and give us at least 2 weeks notice, we will refund your full deposit. If you don't provide at least 2 (two) weeks notice, you will forfeit your entire deposit. We will inform you at time of booking if a 50% deposit is required for your requested service.

If you book a "Speciality Service" with less than 2 (two) weeks until the appointment date, we require the service to be paid for 100% at time of booking. This 100% up-front payment is non-refundable, whether you cancel/reschedule or not.

**Mellie Hair Salon frequently offers promotions & discounts to our new and existing clients to show our appreciation for your business. Please be aware that special offers, promotions and discounts can never be combined with each other, or with any other offer or discount (like Mellie VIP client discounts, etc.). If 2 (two) or more offers/discounts conflict with one another, we will always honor the discount/offer/promotion which will save the client the most $$. All services by Melanie "Mellie" are excluded from specials unless otherwise noted.

Mellie Hair Salon accepts Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as methods to pay for your services & products. We do not accept checks of any kind.

 

Tipping/Gratuities at Mellie Hair Salon

Per industry standards, tipping is up to you, and should be based on your level of satisfaction with your individual service. Mellie Hair Salon's Creative Team greatly appreciates tips, and you may tip your stylist directly in cash or write your stylist a check. We do not accept tips on credit cards, and we will not cash checks.
